This post comes to you straight from His presence. I have decided to begin this post this way because it is how I believe everything we do as Christians should be done- from His presence. In this midst of this past week's papers, tests, appointments, and deadlines I am again reminded that I cannot bear fruit apart from abiding in His presence. He reminded me that His presence is my very lifeline, my instant connection with His kingdom- Heaven. You see religion wants to make you and I believe we have to perform for Him rather than performing from a place of intimacy with Him. And living out of a place of intimacy is truly the only way to avoid burnout. One cannot become burned out with Someone that is as unexpected, creative, fun and loving as our God. The problem is most never experience this side of our Father. There is a HUGE difference between religion and relationship and the enemy of God would love to keep you in bondage to a spirit of religion. Religion is powerless, boring, and will leave you burned out and frustrated time and again. Relationship on the other hand is powerful, exciting and will leave you filled up and refreshed. Press in to His presence, get filled up, and go give it away!
